Event FAQ
General Rules for All Events
-
Be respectful and nonviolent toward EVERYONE, including fellow attendees, organizers, helpers, law enforcement, and counter-protesters!
-
Absolutely NO weapons allowed.
-
Absolutely NO protesting in the road or parking.
Signs
Make sure no signs are calling for violence toward fellow citizens or government officials. Be conscious of your choice of words and how that may affect others around you. When in doubt, ask an organizer ahead of time!
We also ask that signs not be on sticks (poles, pipes, etc) if at all possible.
Parking
Concord has 1,000 street parking spots. In lieu of meters, you need to download an app and pay that way.
Parking garages are located on School Street and State Street. There's also a large lot on Storrs Street.
Note: If you have a handicapped placard, you do not need to pay for parking (even if you are not in a handicapped spot)-- just display your placard.
Equipment
Chairs may be used on the State House grounds. No chairs or tables can be set up on the sidewalk.
Facilities
Porta-potties will typically be available and one of them will be wheelchair accessible. For our shorter, two-hour events we do not order porta-potties.
